FEMTRICE // Start-up support for women
Your path to becoming an entrepreneur
The EXIST Women programme supports women on their path to self-employment.
The aim is to increase the proportion of women starting businesses and to support aspiring female entrepreneurs through targeted measures.
FEMTRICE is part of this nationwide support programme and will accompany you on your journey to becoming an entrepreneur with expert knowledge, coaching and networking events.
Registrations are now open. However, we can only award eight grants in this round.
Who is EXIST Women aimed at?
The programme is aimed at women with links to Otto von Guericke University (OVGU):

Graduates (including those who graduated more than 5 years ago)

Female researchers

Students who have completed at least 50% of their degree requirements or hold a Bachelor’s degree

Women with vocational training and links to OVGU
A concrete business idea is helpful, but not a prerequisite. Participation is possible alongside your studies or work.

Your journey and what to expect:
By the end of the programme, you’ll have solid start-up knowledge, a valuable network and a clear strategy for the next steps. Your idea is viable – you may even have found co-founders or secured follow-on funding.
