Trenux: Full throttle into serial production
The Startup Trenux recently won the Eurobike Startup Award 2018. Now they work on going into series production.
The team of Finn Süberkrüb and Markus Rothkötter developed a folding bicycle trailer that can transport heavy loads but can also be folded up on the luggage rack.
Nearly two years lie between the preparation of the prototype and the patent application. The founding team made the breakthrough when, after a business angel event, three investors were interested in their project.
The next step is now to make the Trenux ready for mass production, finally to offer it in the trade. For this purpose, a crowdfunding campaign will be launched in the spring of 2019, with which even a lack of budget will be collected.
In an Article the founders talk about how they gor their idea and also the Volksstimme wrote about them.
