We are an interdisciplinary group of designers, engineers, computer scientists and cutlers. Together we form a visionary team with diverse skills and combine them together into a LIGNUM expertise. // SKID is the first chef's knife made of 97% wook and 3% steel. It shows the world that even ecologically renewable materials in conventional products can appeal.

What has been your biggest challenge so far?
To enter the offline market.
What is the current progress of your project?
Well! there is stil a lot of work to do to bring LIGNUM products to the market. On the whole, things are progressing steadily.
Why did you found in Magdeburg? What connects you to the city?
Good craftmanship and the most modern manufacturing techniques of the 21st century.
