Projects
Advanced diagnostic imaging systems such as ultrasound 2D and 3D X-ray, endoscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, molecular imaging can be used as guiding tools for minimally invasive and intraoperative therapy.
Goal of the INNOLAB IGT is to develop image-guided therapy systems and accessories in close cooperation with the clinicians Our innovation laboratory at the University Hospital offers an ideal environment for translational resear -"from bench to bedside and back".
Our interdisciplinary approach includes the innovation generation with the clinicians and the subsequent close collaboration and transfer of technologies. We use our own approaches and experience based on Stanford Biodesign, MIT Design Thinking and Business Modeling. Students learn to develop ideas, innovation generation, needs (customer) oriented project management and the corresponding technical realization.
