The research portal Saxony-Anhalt includes content-related aspects of projects, research topics and work priorities as well as publications of the research institutions of the state Saxony-Anhalt. The database facilitates the identification of contact persons and technical experts at the university as well as contact via email. 

The research portal Saxony-Anhalt is thus the most important and comprehensive information platform for research, scientific innovation and technology transfer in the state. It is a virtual interface between science and industry, between the innovative ideas from the laboratories on the one hand, and companies as potential users of know-how on the other hand. It is basis of the research administration at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, which ensures both the publication of the research report and the preparation of the research report and the portrait pages of the scientists. 

The research portal at the University of Magdeburg is one of the best of the approximately 10 nationwide internet research databases.

This is how it works

With a click of a mouse, companies all over Germany can find out about the main focuses of the more than 40 research institutions in Saxony-Anhalt. The most important concern of the portal is the knowledge and technology transfer in all directions: companies can inform themselves about innovative developments and have access to expert knowledge, scientists are able to orient their research in the current market and to find contacts in the economy. In addition, trainees and graduates are taught, pilot plants, machines and equipment are offered.
